TEASER Lights on stAGE, Barcelona (Sub ENG)
The project Lights on stAGE consists of the collective creation of a Contemporary Dance piece with people 65+, working together in all phases of the creative process, from the design of the idea to its exhibition.
It is a proposal with a strong scenic value, taking special care of the process, as well as paying a lot of attention to the result. The process is accompanied and facilitated by a team of dance professionals who share facilitation tools to ensure participation, improvisation techniques and choreographic creation for the creative process, as well as physical training exercises to work the body and movement.
The protagonists of the project are the participants, who decide what they want to explain and how, always accompanied by the team of professionals. Finally, they are the ones who will go on stage to perform the piece that has emerged from the collective creation process. The proposal is to work with a small group of a maximum of 15 people. Our target group is people over 65 years of age who have artistic interests and a desire to live this experience, with no need for previous experience in the creation of performing arts. The objective is to create a safe and trustworthy space where they can enjoy and live the experience of creating their own piece.
Facilitators of the creation process: Sílvia Cepero, Claudia Auzinger and Iris Claramunt.
Camera: Enric Barba and Irina Warner Editing and Editing: Sílvia Cepero
